I have been carbing up with pasta and plenty of water for a week. So a not so carb filled day today is hopefully going to be Ok for tomorrow’s half marathon. With the lovely weather a visit to our favorite vineyard Krainerhof was the perfect thing to do today. I stayed away from the wine and stuck to apple juice and hopefully all carbs were not absorbed by the fatty sausages and bread spreads.
The kids enjoyed feeding the goats. Edgars contribution was chocolate cake, Vincent fed them brown beans.
Brettle Jause (bread with ham, sausage and spreads all made at the vineyard) and a salad with pumpkin seed oil.
Edgar, born in Styria loves local pumpkin seed oil as you can tell…
The Lederhosen themselves should work as a good motivator for tomorrows run!
