Oh Man

The three Kings just came by. 3 kids (around 10 I guess) dressed out and coming together w a chaperon. That is a tradition here in Austria that they come by, ring your doorbell, sing a song, do a blessing and then they write C+M+B+they year on your door to show that your home has been blessed (I guess?).
I screwed up.
Edgar is home with an ear infection and he has not been to much of a happy camper the last 36 hours. Poor kid’s ears are hurting and he has a cough. He finally ate a good meal, and just went to bed. When the three Kings came. Ringing the door bell many many many times before I had been able to rush down and beg them to stop ringing it.
So when they asked if they could sing a song I said No. The chaperone looked pretty shocked and the kids looked like I was the devil herself. So no blessing for this home for 2011 I guess…
