Day Care Party

Vince had his first little play last night at day care. He was part of the St.Martin’s play, and his part involved sitting. He did great. While the actual St.Martin-kid was actually not that in to it, and some of the other participants screamed fully and loudly, Vince sat and smiled, slapped and pointed out different things with his fingers 🙂
The kids then got their little Lanterns (lights) and he waved that around till it broke, happy as could be. Some singing and then time for a snack. And I got to say I am liking our day care more and more. Some really yummy cake, sandwiches plus wine and glühwein (warm spicy wine) for the parents. Good ice breaker. Pictures will follow.

  11. Glad your daycare is working out so well. Sounds like a fun party. I miss drinking glühwein in the winter! I lived in germay for 3 yrs in my late teens and remember the taste of glühwein and fresh roasted chestnuts on a cold night.
